Wonder do I need to downgrade again to exploitable version with E-tuning app :/
I’ve written email with the guys and they claim this is not due their app, but rather Santa Cruz custom setting of Mx wheel, which I found to be quite misleading
I'm sure you can do that with software such as eTuning | Ebike Tuning App for Shimano Steps Motors
But then original software will show un-authorized mofication like mine, which is very bad for support :(
So did you manage to get it setup propperly?

Back in 2021
I wanted to have assist up to 32km/h, which turn out is not working good for me, so I did reverted back to 25km/h
I did that using eTuning | Ebike Tuning App for Shimano Steps Motors
Now a days I got the original SM-PCE02(reasoning why got is bellow) and when I connect I got error...
A couple of weeks ago I was unable to power on my Santa Cruz Bullet with EP8 :(
It's still in waranty, so I dropped in local bike shop.
They were not able to get any data when connected with "service cable"
But they decided to try out with another satellite button from another bike and it did...
When saying E-Steps what do you refer to?
Connect IQ data field or widget or he Garmin Steps?
Can you see later in Garmin connect stats of the mode used and battery percentage?

Len me say I used to ride bike Bosch Gen3 with Kiox display.
Now I’m with EP8 motor and I’m missing some metrics.
Bosch eBike app was displaying how much nM you are putting and how much the motor give you. Also you could see the mode you used in certain period.
However with EP8 I can’t...
At the moment there is no issues and we all share trails.
Some are explicitly only for Bikers especially on North side where is a lot more steep and most of the tourist go.
Every now and then are entry tourist, but there is no law to ban you.
On other hand in national parks you are not supposed...
Bansko is great for beginners to intermediate riders
Almost all(except one) of the trails are bellow the national park line, cuz in it you can’t touch shit
I have shaped things there with local club which is great.
There is plenty of Englishman’s over there and good local community.
This is my beautiful bike at one of trails located on south slopes of Sofia.
Sofia is easy reachable with plenty of flights and you got
- North trails at Vitosha which are quite cold at the moment
- South slope which are good till almost all winter
Thing is trails are not that often...
