Pivot bearing kit not available in USA??

My local Trek dealer had the kit in stock. He said they just got two in last week and said he had a hell of time getting them and actually had to call Trek. The part # I was using is correct. 599909

Pivot bearing kit not available in USA??

Unfortunately the bolt/shaft that goes through has some pitting on it. what I’ve see, the kit is about $50 and the bearings are $25 each. The bike is still under warranty so I should have just taken it to the dealership for repair but it’s apart already, but I enjoy working on my own toys

NEW TREK RAIL 2020-2021 SERVICE MANUAL SUPPLEMENT This is at the top of the forum page. Download it and you will see they upped the torque to 25 for the carbon bikes. Trek Rail 9.8 Chain Slip, why?

I had a similar issue, It only did it on the smallest gear in turbo mode. It ended being my fault, I had the quick link upside down and it would cause the chain to pull away from the gear enough to cause a nasty clunk. This was on my old Scram NX.

    Trek Rail OEM parts

In the USA you can order right from Trek's website. You can pick up at any dealer and they get the credit for the sale or Trek can ship it to your house for a few. If it goes to the dealer, no shipping charge. Last thing I had sent to the dealer, was there in two days.

    Rear hub failed.

I had upgraded mine to to 108. Not sure how much louder it was but it did sound different.

    Rear hub failed.

I’m not a fan of loud hubs, hopefully with some grease they won’t be too bad. The wheels are the Flow Ex3‘s. The videos on Stanes site is impressive, they should hold up well.

Preferably under a grand for both front and back including wheels. I would prefer stronger over lighter.

    Rear hub failed.

I thought my rear tire slipped on a wet rock, but my buddy said the tire didn't spin, so I knew it was fkd. It still ratcheted . so I think the body where cassette rides broke off. I did’t bother taking it apart since they just installed a new cassette under warranty. let them deal with it.

    Rear hub failed.

Trek is going to cover it under warranty but I want to to upgrade to something better. I'm a heavy rider on a heavy bike, so I want ones that will take the abuse and hopefully keep me from pushing my bike back to the trail head again.
