Ive already told canyon about this issue and have told shimano as well.. I wonder if they changed the design issue on the new ep8 motors.. I told canyon that this is unacceptable

i it doesnt matter if I hold it in... Im getting the e010 error now.. everyone is saying I must clean out the contacts... but I cant even take the battery off.. really starting to get annoyed considering that I cant ride my bike... shimano/canyon needs to address this issue...

so long story short... my battery release is broken on the bike. Ive contacted canyon, shimano, and several service centers and Canyon is the only trying to help but still no resolution. Now... Im also getting the dreaded e010w error on my shimano motor and at times having issues also charging...

have you contacted canyon about it? do they know what the issue could be?

battery release mechanism is faulty and error code e010 pops up.. on the phone with canyon...

im having the same issue as well.. I dont have a commencal, I have a canyon but it still uses the same motor. did you get any resolution out of this?

been on the look out for some new cranks for my bike... what are some options for these bikes...I cant seem to find any... it seems its only for either specialized or bosch... any aftermarket e bike crank options for the shimano steps motor?
