Battery alignment is crucial. My battery got stuck after first attempt. If you are going to install lights which operates by the main battery, route out the cable that hides on above the battery`s upper terminal.
I have. It is neat to use the same battery. Heard there is a special reserve for lights. Trek included the wire already (you need to fish it out though) but you need to stop by LBS to activate it. Now I can switch on the lights from the Kiox by pressing a button.
I have a Rail 7 also and Kiox retrofit installed to the stem. It is optimal for viewing. I used the screw on the mount so it is not coming off. Kiox is much better compared to Purion. Nice to see my heart rate when paired with heart rate chest band.
I bought the Trek Rail 7 from a Specialized dealer. Did not even consider the Levo because of Brose reliability. Changed the Purion to Kiox before the first ride. Rail 7 is a fantastic now with the newest Bosch software (eMTB Lite mode)!
