Other Finally managed to spruce up 5 year old Levo

I've been thinking it about for a while and I have finally decided to give the Levo a new look. The paintwork was well used after 5 years and thousands of miles of mud / riding. What do you think?

Levo Gen 2 2018 Turbo Levo E problems

Hopefully it was just the harness - I know they have had lots of issues with the harness and last time I had a motor they automatically changed the harness.

Levo Gen 2 2018 Turbo Levo E problems

It could be a faulty battery - I would have got them to try a different one before replacing the motor.

Other Gen 1 Battery 3 Flashing Red Lights

Suggest you do a search to check for info on this - sounds as though the battery is dead though. There was a recall on Levo batteries, see if yours is part of that.

Other Looking at an old Levo... 2016 6Fattie Expert

If its 4 years old expect to fork out £540 for a motor due to water ingress and £540 on a battery due to water ingress at some point in the near future. You might get lucky and your battery may fall within the date range of the product recall and you will get a new one FOC. Specialized are doing...

How did you get hold of that picture? Specialized will not be happy with that doing the rounds. At least the rubber switch is still on.......

Other RECALL TO REPAIR SELECT 1ST GEN LEVO/KENEVO BATTERY PACKS

All Gen 1 batteries should have been recalled. Clearly the battery design and assembly process is not fit for purpose and I had this same discussion with Specialized UK 2 weeks ago. My switch leaked and corroded the LEDs and my bike has never seen a power hose - something which Specialized...

Rear fender - reducing damage to frame and mud on chain

I'm running this Muckynutz mudguard short. It's working really well too, it's been on since December and has done some very muddy rides.

Levo Gen 2 Need a higher profile rear tire

    Levo Gen 1 504Wh battery

Contact your local specialized store - I believe its called rider assist programme or something similar. I personally have not used it but I have heard others mention it. Alternatively contact Specialized via the contact section on there website.

I have had one sprag clutch fail (slip) - but the bearings started to go first.

Levo Gen 2 How many Levo motors have you had?

I have had 5 motors and have still got the original battery. All motors have failed from what I suspect is water ingress. The bearings start to make grumbling noises and when you turn the crank backwards, the chainring also moves. Bike has never seen a power wash - I think water could be being...

    Levo Gen 2 Rear cassette

I 2nd Dirk74 - Sunrace cassette has been brilliant. Ridden in all weather and never had any problems. The ratio spread is much better than the Shimano - I have stuck with 11-46 with a Hope 32T chainring.

Levo Gen 2 Anyone know how to stop muddy stuff collecting here

The Levo can run up to 3". I used to run 2.6" and the mudguard worked well with them, the gap across the seatstay is larger than the chainstay, so it looks like the chainstay is scraping the mud off the tyre and on to the chain.

Levo Gen 2 Anyone know how to stop muddy stuff collecting here

If you ride natural trails then this is generally how you end up, bike parks and trail centers are generally no where near as bad.
