Interesting story. On the other hand, I bought my SL from my local shop and then signed up on the specialized site and was offered the standard 15% off. I tried to order the range extender using my discount and was told I couldn’t use it on a range extender!

Looking to replace my eggbeater pedals. Anybody had experience using the eggbeaters vs. the candy pedals. Which ones do you like? I’ve hit some rocks with my eggbeaters that almost stopped my bike but they held up great. Wondering if anyone has had the same experience with the candies.
