when do you all think it would be a good idea to sell my current carbon comp with 2500 miles on the engine and upgrade to a lower mile newer year model? How many miles do you all think I can get out of the engine before it is worth nothing? Thanks for your input. Ben
I can't find any name on my wheels. I would assume the bike owner has to take the wheel off any ship to the Roval wheel manufacter? I dont know why a dealer wouldn't submit a claim to Roval instead of charging his customers . Maybe he is getting paid from them as well. lol
sounds like some one keeps over tightening them or the wheel is not getting properly trued in between the spoke changes. I think it is bullshit you have to pay a penny on a brand new bike that is under warranty. I ve been told by my local bike shop/ specialized dealer that the spokes are covered...
I jump my levo 4 ' plus in the air and my Lezyn phone mount and phone dont move a inch. Hands down to Lezyn. They are next level engineering and home based my home town SLO,CA. Mass props . They got a bunch of cool gear for your bike. Big name in the biking industry. Check em out ..... Cheers
yes ... im not to impressed ... I paid fifty five buck to have one spoke installed.. I was thankful the dealer got me in and out in a couple of days though. Im not a agressive rider as well. I think rocks or branches can rub on them when you least expect it and break those buggers off.
I am shocked at how my local specialized dealer has treated me in regards to the fact I bought a private party 2019 levo comp carbon off Craigslist. Apparently all warranty issues in regards to my levo are only for the original owner. I was charged 55 dollars to change 1 spoke and apparently it...
apparently you have to hold the button down for 5 seconds and allow the wheel to rotate 2 revolutions then it kicks in. I could tell it had some power once I did that .. let me know your feelings. Cheers ,Ben
yea n
yes ....thats what makes me want to do it myself but after I go buy everything that's needed I my as well just went and paid the man. I just dont want it to happen to me again next week and be in the same position doling out money.
I grew up racing dirt bikes and never had a issue with spokes, wheels and hubs.....I buy a emountain bike the first week broken spoke? I agree
it will be interesting to see what my LBS has to say. It couldn't be that expensive to install a spoke and tru the wheel.
does any one know what spoke wrench size I need from park tool for my 2019 levo comp carbon? apparently I found a post were a gentleman shared his research with tweekscycle.com that he used to purchase his 283mm spoke and nipple. Is there anything else I should be focusing on?
I just broke a spoke on my rear wheel and do I need a specific nipple wrench ? does the whole wheel need to be re trued after loosing one spoke? I would assume you would just snug down all of them and make sure none others are loose ? cheers, ben
my feelings exactly. I’ll start with calling the dealer where the bike sold and see if they have any service records . If not I’ll have the entire suspension serviced by my local specialized dealer . Thanks fir your info , it has corrected my course !
so pump up 20 psi then release the air while pressing down on the forks and repeat this process 10-20 times per fox website ? It does not appear that my shock is holding the 280psi that is recommended for rider sag for my weight . I pumped it up last night and woke up this morning and ir was...
