Yeah that’s not an O ring it’s a specially designed seal. £18 seems reasonable n able to keep the water out.

Hot melt wax - the journey begins

I’ve been hot waxing 2 years. First MSW now Silca SS I did the multi solvent bath clean on 2 new chains as recommended by ZeroFrictionCycling. It’s important to use the white spirit first to get rid of the manufacturers grease then a couple of baths of alcohol (meths), til the liquid looks clean...

    KENEVO SL NEW WHEELS

I found carbon rims too harsh. Sure they are Gucci but alloy feels a lot nicer to me. DT EX471. Tough rim. You could build it onto the original hub. Gwin rode 3/4 of a WC DH on a rear 471 with no tyre on it. It survived. Want wide? See 511

    Kenevo SL Coil Options

EXT shock has hydraulic bottom out. I have a V2 Storia on my KSL. Works great. I didnt get the E version. More costly. Custom built for me by Mojo uk / Geometron bikes EXT distributor (who worked on the hydraulic bottom out with EXT resulting in the V2 to get a Storia to suit their Geometron G1. )

    Kenevo SL Coil Options

Agree - and match the OEM travel - the chainstays hit end of range not long after end of std travel.

Brose stuff doesn’t fit Mahle motor I was told. Cranks differ for sure.

Kenevo SL Kenevo SL won’t turn on

I’d take it to the dealer. They can plug it in and access fault history. When you take out the TCU is there water in the top tube droplets on the TCU? It gets in easily thorough head tube cable ports Plus there’s more ways for water to get on - I’ve seen a full power Levo at my local dealer...

Mission Control Worrying amount of data collected by Specialized

As you can see in the screenshots above Mission Control and Strava have the same access to location on my iPhone. But true to its warning MC no longer gives a map after a ride. Here’s MC asking for “always” access

Mission Control Worrying amount of data collected by Specialized

It’s hit a bit worse of late Although Mission Control used to record rides and show a map of the result just fine with access to iPhone location services only when the app was running. I’ve noticed recently that -now they want full-time access to iPhone location services - meaning even when the...

    2020 Kenevo + EXT Storia?

It’s not what you asked but Chris at Mojo Rising / Geometron bikes fixed me up with a v3 Storia for my KSL. (Custom shorter piggyback, spherical bearing one end. Those help lots with side loads) It’s fab. Better pedalling. Better grip. Smoother ride on the chunder. Go for it. If you’re in the...

    New scam on PayPal !

Sadly I don't suppose there's any way they can stop a PayPal member making a payment request - scary thing is that I do use PayPal at Decathlon. Maybe it's just a coincidence. Only thing PayPal can do, I imagine, is ban people who make these incorrect requests from the platform

Levo Gen 3 Has anyone tried this rear mudguard for the Gen3 Turbo Levo?

I have a cut-down Mudhugger too (on a KSL, but it should fit) it keeps some crap out of the pivot area too I saw a "how to" on youtube - googling Sam Hills rear Mudhugger.

Kenevo Gen1 Official 2020 Kenevo Owners Thread

Ah sorry, I'd forgotten that this forum is for both Kenevos - I'd imagine Specialized MAY have a video / manual like that for yours too. Anyhoo seems like you worked it all out fine. Quite an achievement. I was quoted 4 hours by a shop to change the brakes on a KSL because the rear involved...
