Volspeed recommends setting max assistance speed to 35kph to minimize chances of 504 error. Says it right on their website. not sure about the speedbox.

On my trek rail, motor software version is different on kiox vs ebike connect app. Kiox: 1.1.5.0 App: 1.1.0.0 Does anyone know why it’s displaying two different versions, and which version I actually have?

That’s the way I’ve been riding mine for the most part. It’s mostly flat where I live so high position is better for less pedal strikes. When I do any enduro or dh I switch to low mino link position.

I swapped the yari out for a zeb and wouldn’t look back. I went with 170, but unless you really need it I recommend 160mm.

take the compression knob adjuster off the zeb and it should clear the frame.

I swapped out the stock bontrager front tire on my trek rail 9.7 with a assegai maxxterra exo, and its night and day better grip. Assegai is the ultimate grip dry weather tire IMO. I’m running an aggressor 2.5 dd in the rear and am enjoying it. Perhaps not the ultimate best climbing or braking...

Ordered the last one. Will use for when I have my bike on my car bike rack on the freezing cold days so my battery doesn’t freeze. May also give it a go in the bike park when I don’t need any juice. Wonder if it’ll be faster than my commencal furious.

Update. He recalibrated his powerplay and reports that the motor is more willing to kick in now.
