On the 4 yr warranty I purchased bike in july 2020 and was told it’s the 2021 model so only 2 yr and that is directly from spech as the shop I bought bike from no longer deal with them must say they’ve been brilliant took it to lbs and had new motor within an hour

That’s a warranty claim for new motor literally just had my 2020 kenevo fitted with new motor as bearings sounded rough

I’ve tried both12 and 11 speed got 11 speed doesn’t seem to make a difference don’t know why you need 12 speed on ebike as chains and cassettes nearly double in price I would swap it all out for 10 or 11 speed steel cassette

Never had an issue with my kenevo expert had a canyon spectral with shimano motor that pooped itself but the canyon torque on with 2 batteries 5k looks great value 😂well I say value someone making shed loads off bikes

So spec kindly sent me a bolt kit for free interesting nee bolt has smear of blue locktite on it

Yeh I used blue locktite but as the bolt came loose from thread the locktite formed a collar on the shaft so the bolt wouldn’t go back in or out hence the heat to soften locktite then I was able to tighten then remove bolt just posting because there seems a few issues with this bolt some have...

Where did you get tech workbook would like to get me hands on one as specialized uk recommended locktite 222 ( purple ) but not sure if that was just his recommendation or official

Well I’ve gone no locktite on thread copper slip on shaft time will tell
