Probably a bit of galvanic corrosion going on. Is the Torx head proud, can you carefully cut a slot in it then use a big flat screwdriver or head to get it out? Have you tried a slightly bigger torx bit, or even a similar size hex head hammered gently into place?

I kind of see what the OP is saying, there’s a ‘noisy majority’ of Avinox fans who are very keen to sniff out any less than awesome praise and stamp on it. There’s also been a massive uptick in vocal US cousins many of whom seemingly don’t like any kind of talk about power restrictions...

I’ve got a Bosch SX powered EL1 in my ‘fleet’, really nice bike. The thumbnail in the video is a Trail E1 isn’t it? I have no insight as to what they’re releasing anytime soon, but I’ve had a few Marin bikes over the years and I’ve enjoyed them.

Perfect, easy to search all bikes by exact motor type now. Just searched TQ50 and Bosch SX and got some results I’ve never heard of, so doing the job I think! 😊👍
