I’ve just recently bought a Levo SL pro. T Type transmission axs shifters. ill be running two chains swapping every 100 miles or so. Hot waxing both chains. cant see why youd run one chain till the cassette and chain die. Doesn’t make sense. cassettes mostly wear because the chain gets longer...

5000 miles on my SL and still find it a joy to ride. often Get back with 50% battery remaining after 30 miles and 3000ft climbing. suites my riding perfectly and that’s what it’s all about. Also come across quite a few out on the trails.

my thoughts exactly regarding the torque sensor But specialized seem to just put new motors in regardless if it’s still under warrant. if they say I’ve got to pay then I’ll obviously be asking questions. I’ll keep you posted.

My 2years one week old SL (4500miles) stopped working today. LBS think it’s the torque censor and will need a new motor. anyone else had this issue.

Yes I tentatively tried the screw driver but quickly thought screw that and went for the handle of a 3/8th drive ratchet. popped out a dream. Might try the socket trick next time. .

2800 miles and still smiling with the Levo SL ..... must add I’m only 10 stone (63kg) never shift when under full load and only use turbo for about 3 mins per ride. best thing Ive ever bought and Love every minute riding it.

@Mikerb Tried to get at my front wheel bearings yesterday on my SL and was stumped by the spacers. Just found this post so will try your screwdriver trick. Bit unnecessary complicated affair isn it. Hope ones are doddle to get out in comparison.

Mines carbon and if I can’t get at the bearing with the guide in the way I’m on the verge of binning them. Struggled yesterday so gave up still I’ve had a think how to get round it. My bearing extractor just won’t get at the bearing because the guide is blocking access. Bit of a pain.

You’ve removed the internal guides completely and binned? Any cable rattle without them?

Ha right. There is what looks like a grub screw but smaller than Any thing I’ve seen before. Tried a 2mm Allen key and way too big. thanks. I’ll see if I can find a smaller Allen key.

I’ve got my SL semi stripped down to replace the pivot bearings but I can’t separate the rear triangle from the frame due to the internal cable guides. Any ideas how to get them apart and more importantly how do I get the internal cable guide back in the right place once I’ve separated ?

Can’t find a frame and pivot schematic for the SL only the FF. are the frame and pivot bearings the same ?

If the majority of your ride was in eco as you say and with the amount of ascent on your second ride I’d be pretty disappointed if I couldn’t ride further on a full charge. Seems more than likely (in my opinion) your battery isn’t in great condition:unsure:.

Give it a really good full charge or at least until the charger shows it’s turned off. Then go out again on a similar route and see what happens. Good luck.

Crikey that’s a pretty poor range. Either the battery wasn’t fully charged and the range estimate Was fooled by something or your battery is knackered... unless you weigh 30 stone and rode into a strong headwind :unsure:
