Hi guys. Down to 116kg now so lost 11kilos. This bike is one of the best things I ever bought!

I use the Bikehut 1600 lumens one from Halfords. Cost me £45 with BCC discount and it works a treat.

I think as the market for ebikes expands rapidly, there will be new players coming in to the matket. At least, we can hope. Or Giant will make backwards compatible batteries of a higher wattage.

Thanks for that swift reply. I may be remembering incorrectly, but I had been looking at another thread for a booster battery (probably don't make them for my Giant anyway though!) I thought a contributor had said that the booster is about the same weight as a full water bottle. Maybe one day...

Difficult with a full suspension bike of any variety. If you are wanting to do some serious bike packing, forget a full sus emtb. Get yourself something like a Surly Long Haul Trucker and load it up!
