Not taped to the swingarm at all. I used a foam type 2 sided tape. Hasn’t budged at all in over 2 years. Simple, clean, cheap and effective.

No you would not be able to. It doesn’t bother me - I’ve never run a bash ring. Would have been nice to have a chain device though.

Hi, do you have a picture of what you did please. I’ve just ordered a spare cover, so I can try and modify my original to make it fit better. Have already steamed cover and reformed to make it seal better. Battery still got wet after a ride though.
