Less than 20kg full power E for my short AF wife.

Instinct Sl would make the grade by rocky is all but dead in NZ. I can only find old stock and back up support will be terrible. As much as i love rocky.... its out. Re the power. I want her to have full power also. I ride literally as slow as i humanly possibly can and still have to wait...

Less than 20kg full power E for my short AF wife.

Thanks for the idea but reach is too long, battery is too heavy, isnt a mullet. 430 or less reach, mullet, 600w max battery less than 21kg has 2 bikes.... https://www.emtbforums.com/bike-finder?sort=freshness&sort=freshness&wheel=mx&torque_min=85&battery_max=625&weight_max=21&reach_max=430

I like to flip my bikes over to work on them BMX style, and this activates/ damages my e-bike controllers. Ideas?

That's some over thinking and over engineering. I just have my controller loose enough that twist it a little be and it doesn't hit the ground. It literally takes 2 seconds prior to the flip......

Bosch gen 5 auto shift emtb to turbo

Yeah thats a switch problem. Probably the remote switch on the handle bar. Take it off and see you are still getting mode changes.

If you are welding why have a floor that catches fire? Also if ya doing dirty stuff why have a floor traps dirt and grime? this seems to me to be a clean mans garage that doesn't do any dirty or hot work..... What am i missing? I just cant think for a worse set up for both hot and dirty...

I'm 47lb with the 400wh in. The bike feels fantastic with the light front end. I have no plans to upgrade anytime soon. i'll probably riding this out for another 2-3 years. We'll see what sort of tech crazyness has been released then. Hopefully a light weight and refined mgu so I can ditch...

Nah, I'm loving it. Went for a brain melter rider today. So much fun. I was giggling like a school girl. I dont need anymore power either, I have more than enough. My problem is, if this thing gets damaged or stolen what do i replace it with.... Just dont want the 800wh heavy front end. I...

Nah, nowhere near that. When its next out ill weigh it. The additional adapter to fit a 400 is like 40 grams. Of course there is standard mounting hardware, but all bikes have battery mounting hardware to some degree. So thats kinda moot.

Nah your off my 500 grams. The 400wh is around 2kg 600wh 3kg

I don't have that harshness feel on my set up, im running a buttery custom tuned rear coil and its all butter! but your right it does feel tight and playful for a 180mm bike then when you give it the highspeed jandle, or huck to oblivion... there's the 180mm ness. It turns out i like that...

Proper demo's of these types of bikes is very unlikely in NZ unless i came across someone who was prepared to lend theirs out for a hoon. With that said, i know what i like and what i dont like. Long chainstay, high pivot, 800wh battery is the opposite to what i want in a e bike. I have a...

Looks Badass. The long chaninstay short reach is geo is not for me. But can see how it would suit certain type of chunk munching maniac.

    Authorities are waking up...

Its contnious power output over 250w or in nz's case 300w. To my knowledge the only manufacturer that well and truely exceeds that continious rating is avinox, The others are all locked down to within the rules. Hell the latest avinox can run at 1000w continious.

    Authorities are waking up...

I think this thread topic is the why. Sure there's kids ripping around on e motos and super high powered scooters. But Avinox bikes do not comply with most countries legal definition of what is an e-bikes. They should be officially classified as a moped or motorbike. These bikes are...
