Levo Gen 2 Are Brose & Specialized Fixing Their Motor Problem ?

I was told when I had mine replaced last year that they did not extend the warranty when a motor was replaced. Granted, I have a '21 Kenevo and live in USA.

Levo Gen 2 Horst link dramatic bearing failure

I'm of the opinion that with respect to bearings - you really do get what you pay for. Name brand bearings (e.g. NTN, SKF, FAG, etc.) are worth the premium vs obscure and/or no-name bearings in a lot of applications.

Kenevo SL Official 2022 Kenevo SL (KSL) Megathread!

I'm running one on my FF Kenevo. The fit is tight, but it clears.

Kenevo SL Official 2022 Kenevo SL (KSL) Megathread!

They aren't that bad when you maintain them. I find that the most annoying thing. However, some people just prefer to the feel of other brands, so swap them out.

The Current State of eMTB Trail Access in the USA

Agree we all need to come together to get any actual work done. I think we need the shops and manufacturers to lead the charge - they will then likely get the various trail steward groups to also push. The one thing that really is holding us back is the in-fighting within the MTB community itself.

Levo Gen 2 Are Brose & Specialized Fixing Their Motor Problem ?

That would be enough for me to swear off eBikes altogether. [emoji38]

The Current State of eMTB Trail Access in the USA

I’ve attended a few public meetings and have voiced my opinion and quickly came to the conclusion that we need people/businesses with clout to make a change. From the CalFire meeting about eBikes it was apparent the head person in charge of Soquel Demo Forest was annoyed at having to deal with...

In the Bay Area they will issue tkts for riding a class 1 on MidPen trails.

Kenevo Gen1 Official 2020 Kenevo Owners Thread

Maybe to some, but to me it absolutely is an issue. I'd rather ride something that feels more like a heavy bicycle than a light motorcycle.

Levo Gen 3 Levo Gen 3 software update - yes or no

I noticed that on my Kenevo after an update a while ago, yeah. Pretty annoying.

    Mahle SL 1.1 to SL 1.2 - What's Possible and What's Different ?

If the 1.2 could work with the old TCU and be priced closer to $1.5K then I think a lot of people would be interested, but that doesn't sell bikes now does it?

    Mahle SL 1.1 to SL 1.2 - What's Possible and What's Different ?

Surely, the 1.2 SL motor would not be $2K. I would think it's closer to $1k. Isn't a Brose motor around $1K? Is the Mahle motor typically closer to $2K? edit: Yeah, the current 1.1 motor is around $1.2K on Performance's website...

    Kenevo SL Motor Warranty?

It's sub-optimal for sure, but understandable. Otherwise, they'd be replacing a lot of motors I suspect.

    Kenevo SL Motor Warranty?

In the USA it doesn't - at least for my MY '21 Kenevo.

Levo Gen 3 Problem with rear brake sram code rs

That's true, but the interface/tolerances of the seals and pistons (among other things) determines how much the pistons retract from the rotor. What I find is that SRAM's sit a bit farther than Magura's by default and hence why SRAMs always have a farther lever travel before the pad contacts the...

Levo Gen 3 Problem with rear brake sram code rs

I find that the Code brake pistons default to a distance from the rotor that’s too far for my liking. You can clean them and reset the pistons, but they will default after a long ride to a distance that is too far. I really want to swap to Magura, but dislike that they don’t sell any replacement...

Other Levo Pro 2022 & Garmin Edge speed/distance issues

If you are using the speedo from the bike I think that will override the distance/speed from the GPS (at least it does when you use a Garmin speedo). You could look at the .fit Garmin file and see what's going on there I guess.

Other Levo Pro 2022 & Garmin Edge speed/distance issues

Ok, so you're using the speedo from the bike. Hmm. Not sure what you can do about that. I don't see corrupt data coming from my Kenevo. Maybe it's related to your speed sensor on the bike? Maybe the magnet or sensor is loose?

Other Levo Pro 2022 & Garmin Edge speed/distance issues

If you're using the Garmin speed sensor, I'd suggest removing the battery and then putting in a fresh one. Could be something that silly.

Other Levo Pro 2022 & Garmin Edge speed/distance issues

That's weird you have odd speed data assuming the circumference is correctly entered. Also, the Edge is supposed to use the speedo vs the GPS to calculate the distance when you have the Garmin speedo connected (not sure if it does that when you use the speed from the bike's computer, but I think...
