I’m riding a 2023 Orbea Rise, which has a Shimano Ep801 motor. I have exactly 4223 miles on it and haven’t had any issues at all. Also, the Ep801 is much quieter than the Ep800 that was in my 2020 Rise.

This for me too! I recently tried Tubolight inserts along with a DHF 2.5 exo+ up front and a Dissector 2.4 exo in the rear, on my Rise H10. It turned my bike into a slug! Needless to say, the range went way down also. 18 ounces of added wheel weight really sucks the life out of my bike!

Absolutely! They need to install tubing inside the frame and chain stays that is part of the bike, that the cable housing or hose just pushes through.

The manufacturers of all internally routed cables need to use some sort of tubing/conduit in the frame. It would make cable/hose replacement a piece of cake! It would also get rid of cable rattles.

I took my 2023 H10 in for the update and stood by while the girl did it. I’m glad I stuck around, because I figured it out for her. Fortunately this adapter was included with the new stuff they ordered, in order to hook up my bike to their computer. Worked perfectly!

There are some great deals out there right now for the 2023 Orbea Rise. They do have alloy framed models. They are the “H” models. I just got a 2023 H10 Rise for less than $5K, US. I had a 2021 M10 that I paid more than $8500. I really like the new one, because of the larger battery.
