If I remember correctly, doesn’t EU law force Bosch to put in places measures to make it hard to derestrict? I wouldn’t think these laws would bother or effect Avinox though.

First bit is helpful, second bit you’re barking up the wrong tree. I don’t care which is fastest and obviously they are all slow in real terms. I was just using the hill race as an example to understand where the power difference of the 2 bikes would take effect.

The point wasn’t really which is fastest, I wanted to understand the difference the wattage or torque makes in a real world scenario.

With the new 120nm Bosch update coming, it looks like the motor will remain at 750w. If a 120/ 750 Bosch and a 120/ 1000+ Amflow both set off at the bottom of a steep hill and started climbing as fast as possible, how would the smaller wattage manifest itself. Where would it lose ground?

Was it available to demo? Was it a leisure lakes demo event?

Put it on eBay but list it as a normal bike.

I don’t think he even professes to be a proper reviewer. He’s more of a “here’s me on a ride and my opinion on my stuff.” My point was that he seems honest and totally unbiased in what he says about his bike etc.

I get the impression Alex maybe expected a free Amflow and seems pissed he didn’t get one.😀 Ian Richards always gives an honest review, buys all his own bikes and rides the wheels off them, but if something is shit he’ll say so.

Every Whyte I’ve tried has been amazing to ride so I have high hopes with this. They usually kit them out with sensible stuff too rather chasing a headline weight with lighter components.

Fair comment and I agree about the sponsored riders, my issue is all the YouTubers who were given free 9 grand Amflows to keep but they don’t declare it. If you knew in advance they had a free bike you can then have a more balanced view of their reviews and thoughts on their bike. Great...
