So frustrated that i didn't wait for the PX

The PX brings much more than just power. It brings much stiffer rear end, a much better ride, better geometry and with 40 adjustment to make it perfect for your use case, etc. The few good YouTubers out there that compared the two said it was a much better ride and bike. Trying to lie to...

Differences between PX and PR models

They cleared those out before people including myself knew the price of the PR, which is changing the game. Many shops online here in the US still have the PL in stock.

New YT Decoy X Avinox Lanched

I mean, if the Decoy was carbon like the Amflow, it would also be even more expensive than it already is. Not fair comparison either. Point is, in my opinion, this YT is a very poor value and poor proposition. I won’t prevent anyone from buying it though, go ahead :)

Differences between PX and PR models

Worst battery life yeah 700 instead of 800. They can say what they want about the battery tech, it’s still 100wh less and you pay $1200 more, for otherwise the same components and you loose the removable aspect. Before the announcement, I was going to buy a PL that is currently discounted, or...

New YT Decoy X Avinox Lanched

Agreed. Too expensive too heavy. The PR looks like a much better deal.

Differences between PX and PR models

The PR are an incredible deal. For $6800 with the PR Carbon Pro, you have 100Wh more and same components as the $8000 PX Carbon. For $5000, you have lesser components but incredible price point you can grow into. For both of those, many upgrades over the previous gen including the M2/M2s...

    New Amflow Models?

Would definitely wait. Plenty of confirmed upgrades just from the photos. Also is it me or the new base model gets standard autoshift? From the leaked website specs, it says AXS pod shifter for the base one.

    New Amflow April 9 specs

What is not fine is less battery capacity, despite more power.

    New Amflow April 9 specs

Do we know for sure it’s more efficient or is it speculation? If it’s more efficient, is the improvement enough to match the same range as the 800? That seems very unlikely, when you look at the efficiency numbers of the competition, they all are very close to 80%, yet efficiency would need to...

    ZEB 160mm vs 170mm

Hello, I don't like much the Yari on my 9.7 Rail and I am going to order a ZEB Ultimate in the next few days. I am not sure if I should get a 160 or 170mm. I have read all the threads on the forum and I would tend to the 170mm but my main concern is having the bike too slack. I already have...

170mm Fork travel. Anyone increased their forks on the Trek Rail ???

the bar height doesn’t change the angle of the bike at all. Removing spacers under the bar just affect your riding position relative to the bike, it doesn’t affect your bike geometry at all. Having à longer fork affects the geometry, it highers BB and lowers head angle. Well I already explained..

170mm Fork travel. Anyone increased their forks on the Trek Rail ???

Yours could be different best way to check is to look on the side ok cool let us know if it makes a difference. I wanted to put the ZEB but I am afraid about the fact it’s 8mm longer on top of the added travel. I might go with Fox 38 for that reason but it’s quite a bit more expensive where I...

170mm Fork travel. Anyone increased their forks on the Trek Rail ???

well as I said it does come in low.

170mm Fork travel. Anyone increased their forks on the Trek Rail ???

it does. Adding a ZEB 170mm raises your front end 18mm (10mm travel and the Zeb is also taller). What it does is it slackens your bike and can make it worst for climbing. Did you do any steep climb with it without the front end feeling too light / lifting?

170mm Fork travel. Anyone increased their forks on the Trek Rail ???

Did you adjust the Mino link to « high » to compensate for the geometry change?

Geometry change with 170mm and DHX2 65 fit

The problem is not the bb, But the bike will be way slacker than stock even with the Mino in high. Also, the 2021 comes with Zeb 170 but they changed other specs too because the slack angle is the exact same as the 2020 with Yari 160mm. As I explained going with the Zeb 170mm would be equivalent...

Geometry change with 170mm and DHX2 65 fit

Be careful with the Zeb. Not only 170mm makes the bike already slacker (which you can counter with the Mino Link) but the Zeb 170mm is also 8mm taller than a 170mm Lyric giving you again more slack per this site: RockShox Zeb: first ride on 38mm stanchion 160-190mm suspension fork - MBR The...

Geometry change with 170mm and DHX2 65 fit

What’s the mounting difference between a 7 and 9.7? I still don’t understand what mounting hardware I need to get for a 9.7 XL. Also if anybody can confirm a 230x62.5mm DHX2 will fit that would be great.

Just got a Rail 9.7 need advice

My biggest problem is how harsh the fork is on small fast bumps. The chatter that go in my arms is huge even though I have a carbon bar. I have also tried the Levo and a Moustache and didn’t have these issues even with basic suspensions (fox rhythm on the moustache I think).
