I've noticed in the "other settings" I can change the "overall torque limiters" to 100nm (where my understanding is the motor max is 85?) And... the overall power limiters can be set to beyond 500w The question I have is.... what good or bad happens if I bump beyond 85nm, and the same for beyond...

I just got a message back from www.eBikeMotorRepair.com They told me they don't do anything with Shimano motors because they have a lot of anti-tamper features that can end up causing problems. . I may end up opening the motor to service it, but now I'm not so sure. Am I gonna brick the motor?

Was riding my orbea rise today. Bike and motor are out of warranty. I have unlocked it to the full NM and was climbing in boost. It was a fairly steep road climb, and suddenly something just felt "weird" - I immediately dropped from boost to trail mode and it seemed to go away. As I continued...

Just picked up a low mileage 2022 H30 - is there a way to stuff a larger battery in this? I know I can get a range extender, but I love the idea of internal battery that accomplishes the same. Thanks!

Just picked up a canyon spectral on cf7 during canyon’s sale. Opened up the app, and it says there’s a few software updates to do. Are these helpful to us/end users? Or more just to help shimano to keep us from messing with things? Am I gonna get improvements by updating?

Can I use my garmin in place of the sc-e8000 display? I'd rather not have two computer screens on my handlebars. I know it can pull the data, but I might need an adapter of some sort? Anyone do this? Easy setup? Worth it?

I've seen people take the Orbea Rise to 160mm but... is there an option that would take it to 150mm instead?

Well, I didn't think an e-bike was coming this soon, but I finally realized if I wanna spend more time descending this year - then an emtb is the answer. I'm in Citrus Heights/Sacramento, CA. Now to figure out which bike is for me!!
