Heard this a few months ago, in Spesh bikeshop from another country than mine (France). I thought it was a joke , and still think it is one (US company buying chinese motor ? Especially in the actual context. But heh, if Spesh wakes up and delivers a proper new Levo, and not a fridge on wheels...

I guess the forged edition isn't made in carbon forged (frame). Therefore, i wonder if making the switch to fully forged carbon frame (and not only a forged finish) will be a thing, in a near future ? Do brands like Crestline have any interest (or strategic move) to switch ? I.E. frame...

if fridges on wheels count, then it's a big yes.

form factor uber alles, because it impacts so much the integration, then the kinematics / geo of the frame. Huge differences, in the end.

It's an option. But having to pay twice the mechanics, to dismount the original parts then mount mine ... Doesn't make sense. On the long run, i might reconsider it, but ...

evolving frames / standardized mounting point for motor. Frames produced in EU / US revved carbon frames more high grade alu frames titanium frames (welded in the right season ! )

I only weight 75 kg. But around me, many heavier buddies (90-100 kg) who went from levo gen3 or bosch CX gen 4 to some avinox ebikes, are more than happy.
