Technically Specialized does make radial tires - they are 70 degree instead of 90 degree like others. With 70 degrees, the sidewall holds up much better allowing you to run the same tire pressure as non-radials. Look into the Butcher Grid Gravity Radial T9 TLR, and the Eliminator Grid Gravity...

Would Specialized radials be a viable option for this use case?

I don't mind this, it's a good start. Here in NY you can't buy ebikes that have non-UL listed batteries. Amazon, Wal-Mart and the other big chains won't sell them to you. Local bike shops though... So you can still get them but for the casuals it's getting harder.

Good question. I have a new Rockshox Vivid Air on my PL large that fits fine and the Live Valve Neo I have on my Cannondale is not as fat as the Vivid so probably will work. Understand the hesitation though because of the price. The Neo is a great shock.

Better integration with other fitness products like Garmin watches.
