  • Rod,

Is there a trick to getting the collet wedge out of the Orbea main pivot axle?
Mine seems frozen inside the expanding area.
    Thanks
    Ed

    Ed,
The collet wedge should just slip out without force. Unfortunately, this comment section we are on, only allows a response of 420 characters. Send me a private message and I can go into detail on how to remove a collet wedge that frozen in place..

Hi Rod, I'm thinking of changing from a Kenevo to a Rise. I see you've changed from a Rise to a Levo. I'm a little concerned about the robustness of the Rise. I'd like more range, less motor support and lower weight. What differences have you noticed with Rise/Levo ownership both in terms of use and maintenance requirements. Cheers Brian

Brian, check your eMTB forum mail. I sent you a response via a private conversation.
    Rod,
I've been researching the Cascade linkage a bit more.
What's the benefit? After a bad crash 2 years ago at the skills section at the top of Santiago Oaks, I've given up trying to get better at jumps and big drops. And at 66, my crash recovery time is taking so much more time!

    Hi Rod,
Just wanted to thank you for your Rise guide. I successfully removed and refitted the upper linkage. Could I just ask how hard it is for future disassembly after using loctite 638 on the splines. I didn't go mad with it as per your guide. But curious as to how hard it will be in the future should I need to change a bearing.
    Many thanks Richard
