High drivetrain wear on Amflow PL Carbon

I’ve been riding the Amflow PL Carbon for about 2,000 km with the SRAM Eagle 70 Transmission and SRAM Eagle 70 Transmission Flattop Chain.

Now the second chain is already worn/too long. I also had to replace the five smallest sprockets once, probably because I noticed the stretched chain too late.

Is this normal for this bike/drivetrain? Do you have similar experiences? And are there any better or more durable chains you would recommend?

Admittedly, the bike is “unlocked” to 45 km/h, which probably increases wear quite a bit. Still, this seems surprisingly frequent to me.

We have had the same reported by someone else using that cassette and chain.

Cassette and chain wear comes down to how you use the EMTB and how well you maintain it. Also, the XO Chain has been shown by testers to last more than 2 times as long as the 70 chain. But it is 3 times as expensive. So it's a coin toss regarding any cost savings.

My Amflow PL Carbon Pro has the XO chain and cassette. It has 2000km, and is showing almost no wear. But I am meticulous with maintenance, and don't use Turbo very much.

Also, as I have the electronic ASX transmission, I don't sit in the higher gears constantly, but cycle through the gears keeping my cadence higher. Cogs with more teeth wear slower.

Yes its normal. Add more power = wear out parts sooner. This is ebiking. Wearing shit out faster.

In my winter mud I dont get anywhere near 2000km for a chain life. 1000km will be over stretched.
