Some of these lead times are crazy. I ordered an M10 mullet this morning and it should be here by November. I just checked the delivery dates and the same bike is now showing as June 2027!! There must be a very limited supply of motors.
 
Is anyone ordering their wild LT with the podium fork? Reviewers seem to really like the performance and I quite like the Moto look of it. I was surprised to hear that a lot of mountain bikers don’t like that look.
 
Febuary and June 2027? Shit. Well, mine's a M20. I'm glad I asked the dealer for an update too because they followed up later to say the silver color would be months out, and asked if I'd prefer to change color to get it towards the end of the month. So was able to change to purple.

you mean invisible frame ? doesn't the frame come stock with a lot of stickers ? - see bluepaper. i don't think i want to fit more

I think I'll order the complete ridewrap kit for the frame and fork. It's true the frame comes partially protected, but I want to protect it completely, and currently Invisiframe doesn't have the kit for the Wild LT on their website.

it's a tough one this. I invisframed my mk1 Rise but it was a big job (most parts off the frame) and delayed riding the bike... It looked really good when I came to sell it, but I'm not sure I got any more money as a result.

New bike I didn't both on the basis that the key areas were done but riding it has added some scrapes to areas that would have been covered by invisiframe but not by the stock...

All the Wild LT models listed in the 2027 range use the DJI Avinox M2S motor system. 1300w peak, 150Nm peak torque. And Orbea's RS tune on the motor, giving a faster startup and more aggressive power ramp at lower RPM.

Sick bike for sure. To me, the Avinox is 'overpowered' in the sense that there aren't many circumstances where you'd want the full power band it has to offer, but it's like a four-stroke 450 moto, you can't use it if you don't have it, but if you have it, it's always an option. I'm torn between this and the Dreadnought. It will probably come down to the availability on the Forbidden in the States.
 
Just received the build date for my Wild LT M20 in full 29"; the bike is size Medium and the color is the Smooth Silver Matte/Escape Green Carbon View. The bike will be built 8/09/2026. The dealer thinks I should have the bike sometime in mid to late August. I will be using a combination of parts I have and parts I am purchasing to complete a build on the bike. The build will look something like this:

That covers most of the build. I am really looking forward to this bike. My current bike is a 2024 Orbea Wild M11 AXS with the Bosch Gen 4 motor. My current Wild is an amazing bike, the best I have every ridden. I have very high expectations for this bike and I think Orbea will live up those expectations. They have nailed every generation of Wild. They nailed the RS tune on the Shimano motor for the Rise (I owned one for about 1 year). I really think this bike will be amazing.

Did you purchase through your dealer, or order through the MyO page and have it delivered to your dealer? Did you just order the frame? Did you get credit from orbea or from your dealer for the parts that (may have) came with your bike that you are not using?

I didn’t use MyO. I knew that would be a long wait. I am wanting a new bike now and knew the Wild is what I want. I knew shops would be getting a certain allotment of bikes based on their orders, but there would be a shortage, so not even they knew what they were going to get. So, I called 3 shops in my area and explained that I would purchase an M20, in whatever color, size medium, full 29”, as soon as they could confirm if they were getting one of the initially released bikes from Orbea. One of the dealers was getting no bikes, one dealer was getting a medium M-LTD in August, then nothing in size medium for a while, and another dealer called me back yesterday to let me know he could get me a medium 29” in matte silver in August. I told him I’d take it. I went there today to pay the deposit and place an order for some of the parts I don’t already have. They’ll build the bike when it comes in.

If anyone is curious, Orbea now has both the 29' and mullet links available up on their website. Colors right now are limited to black and the stock colors with no custom colors available.

What reduction cup are you planning on using to get the CK headset to fit? I’m collecting parts now for my build and always use CK headsets but it’s looks like a huge hassle to make it work. I was just going to go with a I9 headset instead.

I thought the Chris King InSet 2 would fit, but do not know enough about it. I have just added new hubs to my build list as of this morning. I want the Chris Kings and really to like that matte jade color to go with my silver Wild. Since I was doing the hubs, I figured why not spend a little more to upgrade the headset and add some matching bling. Definitely not necessary if it won't fit. I've never replaced a headset before. I've always just left what was stock in place and never had an issue. I'll check with my bike shop tomorrow when they are open and ask about the headset. Thanks for the heads up that it may not work for my build.

The inset 2 is a ZS44/ZS56, you need a ZS56/ZS56. Chris King doesn’t make a ZS56 upper, I’ve heard you can press in a reducer to go from 56 to 44 but not seen them used before.
