Since this board is Euro-centric, I figured you guys would be the ones to ask. We plan on going to Val Gardena next Summer and I'm trying to figure out how long we should plan on staying. We have a diverse group of riders and will all do the Sellaronda but I may be the only one looking to ride the lifts to do some enduro type trails while the others may stick to XC. Most of the wives will be hiking and I'm guessing there are days trips we should probably take to other areas.

Thanks in advance for your input...

I looked for more information as well and struggled. There's a lady that does a very tame ebike tour with her spouse and they just ride around rented ebikes and eat at the refugios. That seems to be the plan in that area. I think with an ebike it goes much faster than regular. I'm not sure on the number of days. Also, I grew up in Prescott when there wasn't much and was really happy to see Beans Peak when I went back recently. I haven't been since the upper portion opened, but I hear it's great.

Hi! I spent a week in Canazei (other side of Sellaronda) during the first enduro world championships (volunteering as trackside marshall), mid september 2024.
Rode 2 days before the event and the Canazei side is great for true enduro mtb.
The whole Sellaronda tour was a bit dissapointing concerning the tracks but the views are wonderful! So, mid tour I stopped at Val Gardena and stayed riding a few times the Ciampinoi Bike Park track, steep!
Lifts everywhere, great food, will certainly go back!
Less than 2 hour drive south west, Andalo and Paganella Bike Park, beautiful place and nice ride!

Thank you. Great info.

There is a Brit expat who runs a shuttle service in Canazei. BLue VW Van. There is infinite riding in the area. Val Duran, Peligrino etc. What ever difficulty you want. There is a great little bike shop in Arraba called Limit. Check Komoot.
