Got a Druid CorE with M1, only ridden about ten times. Motor stopped providing assist. Everything seems to work. Screen shows all the values and modes. Able to cycle thru assist modes but no power. There is a gear indicator in the top right corner that used to show which gear the Transmission derailleur was in, and now it just shows “zero” regardless of what gear the drivetrain is in. The derailleur isn’t hardwired to the motor, so how did it know which gear it’s in at all? Any advice?

You have to enter in your chainwheel and cassette size, as well as your tyre size. It compares cadence against speed, to calculate the gear. If assist is not working it won't do the calculation.

Take it back to where you bought it.

Ok that makes sense because all those values were correct. So something’s up with the motor then. Thanks!

Hey @elesdee , do you already have an awnswer to your issue?

The same problem occured today with my bike (Steppenwolf tundra 9.0, M1). Rode finde yesterday, did a softwareupdate and some careful cleaning afterwards.

The gears are recognized as long as "off" ist chosen. As soon as i toggle to an assist mode it just stays with the last known gear, no support from the motor... also only 100km on it.

Took the bike to the dealer yesterday, and already could pick it up back again today.

It seems that with the last softwareupdate, an maintenance Mode has been activated, which diabled motor support.

An softwareupdpate was done and now it works as intended again.
