I have two 2023 in my care, my Altitude PP and my wife's Instinct PP. Amazing bikes and we love them.

Im getting frequent (once/ride) motor protection warnings on the Altitude which is now at 1000km. It usually happens just after a pedal strike uphill or a rough shift uphill. Early in the ride. The first time it happened was when I broke a chain at 600km. It sucked the chain in and it looked pretty bad. Before that, not a single error. So Im wondering if something got bent.

My wife's bike also has 1000km. No errors. And she has the worst shifting technique. idk how she hasnt broken anything.

It sounds like an issue with the torque sensor. Have you calibrated after said events? If so you may need a new torque sensor installed.
