Avinox M2 motor, will there be a subscription service for premium features and power, per S-Works?

Out for a ride today, with a mate, who has a mate who knows someone who works at a local bike company. Said bike company had prototyped an Avinox bike previously.

How much truth there is in it I don’t know, or if he was just waffling, but he suggested that the new Avinox system might be a two-tier offering, with the basic (free) version but then a small monthly subscription for premium features and to unlock the higher power levels.

I can’t see this has been mentioned in any other threads, Atherton etc, but it could sort of make sense as Spesh got away with it on the S-Works? More money/More power?

🤔🤔🤔

There are two different motors if that's what you mean by two tier, but not like the Spesh method of you just paying more to unlock more power - or rather pay less and have a restricted version.

Read the M2 thread if you want the specs.

From what we've seen avinox at this stage are about developing the product rather than schemes to maximise profitability.

The only power limit I know is the older battery is limited to 1300w while the newer one is 1500w. So it's battery cells as the reason rather than just software limiting with the same hardware.
