Mine is worn & will need replacing soon. Does anyone know what offset is on the factory fitment? I see 52 & 55mm options. I'm guessing 55mm for a boost 12spd bike but want to check before buying. Cheers.

Guys....?

Answered my own question. If you have a Shimano 12 speed drivetrain, oem fitment is a 34 tooth 52mm chainring.

I bought this which should be a direct replacement.

Just looked up the Focus archive for a 2022 Sam 6.8. They don't say specifically but mention 34 tooth & Deore XT 12 speed, so it's likely the same but if you can remove yours, the spec will be stamped on it.

Thanks fellas, have been looking for one in oz online but can only seem to see a 36 tooth version, all the 34 s seem to be sold out, there are some alloy ones but are 3 times the money of a steel one so need to keep looking or ask where I bought the bike for a genuine Focus one. Have any of you tried a 36 over a 34, guessing there won’t be a huge difference, I’m thinking this way as a last resort.

Not sure it would kill the experience, depending on how you ride. The bigger the chainrinmg, the harder the effort obvs but a Sam is an enduro rig, so at a guess, it;s generally heading downhill & a 36 shouldn't be the end of the world. Reckon it comes down to what you need from the bike.
