I used this @folmonty, got it off amazon . I modified it as I have access to a machine shop who made me a part to make it a little neater and compact

    Alternative Purion Mount?

Been using the one I made in the pic earlier in this thread for 2 months and it's fine for me. If you're constantly changing modes maybe not the best but if you are a "leave in EMTB" rider it's spot on. Bike can be flipped over with no worries of damaging the display as well. Trek Rail extra protection

It really is a simple thing to do, same with the electrical blanking grommet on this thread, costs pretty much nothing but does the job!

    Trek Rail extra protection

Sorry @Davidwylie , I remember you posted it to me on facebook Trek group. It's a brilliant and simple thing to do for added protection. I did it myself, bought the stuff off ebay, but I was replying to the post at work, I only had your pic to explain \ show how to do it. I hope you don't mind

    Trek Rail extra protection

I have indeed, you can improve this buy using some P section draft excluder to help seal the gap. See pic A few have done this ( me included) and it works well.

    Trek Rail extra protection

Just a quick tip/hack for a little extra protection around the key entry point on the frame. I've used a 16mm electrical blanking grommet and cut a slit for key access. It should minimise water ingress out on the trail in this area.

    Alternative Purion Mount?

Thanks @Stihldog, for me I’m 90% in eco so don’t really constantly swap modes. In addition I don’t really use walk mode. I’m fully aware it won’t suit everyone but suits me and that’s all that matters!
