I haven't tried the Race casing but the Mazza is a great tyre. Similar feel to a Butcher. I had the Graphene 4c which maybe felt a bit less sticky than T9 but the tyre was a really good all rounder.
I only took it off when it got to Hillbilly weather. Itll go back on in the spring.
I've got a couple of Specetyres. I'm the garage. Still in the box. Blck Dnmd compound. Must be 6 years old and the feel no different to a brand new butcher on the finger nail test.
Ok, that's not riding them but I'd be happy to fit them to my bike today and ride them tomorrow.
II reckon a...
Orbea Rise is 210x55.
As already alluded to though, a lot of shocks these days are physically the same which but use spacers to get the final travel.
Fox/Manitou for example, a 210 shock is a 210 shock. The only difference between 50/52.5/55mm stroke is the spacers. The next size up might be...
Even new style drivetrains that claim to (and do) shift well under load, still need some mechanical sympathy when you're shifting.
Yeah, with shimano 12 speed you can snap through the gears pedalling on the flat without backing off but downshifting going up hill with power through the pedals...
My Resist were the same and I nearly sent than back.
I've kept them and have been using them for 2 years.
Although they feel rubbery when you put them on, I don't notice when I'm riding. I do t feel like I sweat any more than I do in normal, non waterproof trousers.
I probably wouldn't...
Who can tell. Endura aren't exactly known for their consistency with sizing!
I've got 30' TLD Resist and they're true to size. I'd usually buy 30' waist in everything else and the Resist fit nicely. Maybe a little looser than I'd like but fine for on the bike.
The ankles are tapered and not...
Why clean it? Seriously.
UK winter means it'll be filthy by the time your 100m from your car or house.
Brush off dry mud. Wipe with a damp cloth.
I get that it's nice to look at when it's clean but I just don't see the point.
I'll clean mine properly if I need to work on it. No one wants...
Hey man, just wondering whether your new chainstay is OK?
I'm pretty sure mines bent. The rear axle/dropouts/pivot has always been a bit fiddly to align but this one is waaay off.
I doubt more travel is the answer you're looking for. Better damping is usually what people need when they they say they need more travel.
Either send your shock in to a good tuner or buy yourself something that's DIY tuneable. Proper damping is the most important thing you can do to your...
When you look on the website, it gives you the estimated despatch date.
Did the date given at the point of sale imply that there was stock and then he found out later that there was none?
I've ordered stuff from them that had ~6 weeks as a despatch date. It's annoying but at least I know it's...
Per the title, I'm considering a coil for my 22 alloy frame.
I've seen plenty of posts where medium frames have clearance issues with a multitude of shocks (air and coil). DVO Jade is high on the list, has anyone successfully fitted a coil in a Medium frame?
They e never been particularly fast at doing anything. Whether that be shipping parts I've bought or sending warranty bits but they've been great at sorting warranty stuff.
I'd happily buy another bike from them given how well they've dealt with the problems I've had.
Mine developed radial cracks from one of the drain holes at the bridge near the motor.
Im guessing it was because of flex in the chainstay. The replacement that they sent didn't have the drain hole on that side so I think they must have changed the design. Mines a 22 alloy and I'd guess...
