I'm looking at replacing the headset in my 2021 jam2. It's pretty poor quality and needs constant maintenance to keep it quiet.
I'm having difficulties finding a suitable top assembly.
As far as I can tell this will fit but it seems to be discontinued.

I bought the jam2 6.7 and swapped out a bunch of parts from the bike it replaced. The Bosch motor is excellent much more grunt than the e8000 imo.
I love it, can't go wrong with your choice I reckon.
The manitou mara pro fits on my XL jam2.
I needed to rotate the work / party mode lever as it was going to foul in party mode. It was a 30 second job.
No biggie since I won't ever use the work mode anyway.
I had some nice carbon wheels on industry 9 hubs I wanted to use so I switched them out when I first got the bike. I never rode it full 29 so cannot compare. I'm actually considering getting a new rear to try full 29.
I switched out the wheels on momento a mullet setup.
I had to flip the chips, install the other brake mount that came with the bike and also took a few links from the chain. It came a little long to begin with when the 29" wheelset was fitted.
