Regardless if I try to charge my battery on or off the bike the LED on the charger blinks red. Even if the charger isn't connected to the bike or battery.... it still blinks red. I also tried unplugging the charger for a day and still had the same issue. I'm sure it's a bung charger but given...

I'm still happy with how much use I got out of my bike - it has been thrashed! Doubt I'll get much help from Giant or Yamaha, I wouldn't know how to get in contact with them either.

I've ridden a few Giant bikes EMTB & regular and the Maestro ride characteristics seem pretty consistent for the most part; nice and light in the initial stroke with excellent traction - perfect technical riding or comfort at low speed. Not the ideal choice for big hits or super aggressive...
