Ive always tried to make my bike light but I also couldn't tell you if my water bottle was full or empty on my bike. I also find the rouge more nimble and planted than my last eeb which was 19.5kg (mid). I've never once felt while riding it I wish it was lighter........until I went to lift it...
What I meant or intended to say is you need to ask, tires, weather, relative effort, surface type and how many boost moments there were and what time you have that set for etc. You can have a relative effort but still hit boost and it can skew everything. Asking a single question like that has...
I think this is all irrelevant as there are so many factors. I can chew mine in 1150m and 25km or I can get 50km and 2000m. Its all to do with how many times I punch the munter button (boost) and what mode. My auto is tuned to 85nm and 600w with hill start assist (hill start assist makes it more...
I have a Forbidden Druid Core e 1 at home. I weighed it to and took a look at frame girth compared with the Velduro. The Forbidden in L with pedals weighed 23.7kg. The Velduro was 23.8kg. Part spec was slightly different but total weight about 300 grams heavier on the Forbidden. The frame is...
Mine was super tight but it did fit. You can fit them from the outside too. I did not have the new bolt so can't comment on that. Looking forward yo seeing your build!
Here is the comparison of my SAR verse the RS Spring. I measure the SAR at 143mm. I think 146mm will just work based on my tests just now. The 2025 Vivid at 62.5mm on an L fits just fine too.
They did not come with the first batch to NZ but Velduro NZ gave them to the dealers. I got them and put them in. The next batches may have them included, I do not know but it sleeves the bolt hole and got rid of all creaks/noises from mine. Super silent now except minor motor clacking.
Those go under the head of the bolt outside the frame. It reduces effective bolt length so your allen key can be inserted enough in the nut head. These are NOT the top hat washers or shims. Your motor would not fit with these on the inside.
Speak to your dealer. Ask them for the top hat washers. They say to put them on the outside. However, put them on the inside. I used a very small amount of epoxy under the brim of the top hat washer. Bike was totally silent after that. Washers then also act as a shim too. As I'm on the M1 I also...
I completed the change to a 36 tooth front chainring. I run shimano so went for a praxis steel ring, the idler/chain noise has completely gone and it's night and day difference. I'm running 9 - 45 with 120 links. I'd 100% recommend throwing the avinox ring away, its shit. Wish I had done it ages...
