Did the suspension swap and decided to put my GX T Type on as well. Pulling the XT mech cable housing out of the frame was pretty drama free through the front. My thumb really gets sore with the mechanical shifting so a button push really cuts that down.
Sold my beloved Heckler and just received a CX XT build. In just a few miles I can tell a few things. Its way easier to get the proper rear sag on the four bar than the VPP. My first experience with the radial tires is shocking. Had to really pump them up and man they are grippy. Very...
Have a 9.7 with Shimano brakes which I love. The Code R's on my Heckler just sucked. Replaced with RSC levers and the H2S rotors and much, much better.
Its hard to load a fork when is un compressed so the max fork stroke seems odd to me. If it is some potential thing where you can push it harder due to the extra travel that seems a like a stretch. I run a Fox 38 with 160 on mine. But I am no jumper either.
Arghh. Rode the new bike about 50 miles this weekend. The damn SRAM shifter is single click and you have to push to downshift as well (Shimano you can push or pull) My thumb is really sore (and I am old). Started looking at e shifting to reduce the wear and tear on my thumb.
But boy is it...
Added a lightly used CS29 to compliment my Fuel EXe. Must say that I prefer my Shimano shifting and brakes to the SRAM stuff. Just have to adjust everything to preference and ride it now. No real plans to throw more money at it. Mine has Fox 38 on it.
Went to get a firmware update the other day. One of the goals was to hopefully get the TQ app to have functionality in setting up the center button and see what versions I have. Sadly the Android interface just wont let me see these. Have deleted and reinstalled the app with no luck. I swear...
Refreshing this a bit. Did a tolerance stack a while back. There are two sources of play on the bolt. The shock bushing and the frame. You cant solve the frame sloppiness unless you match ream everything to a new bolt size. You need to clamp the orange bushing to the frame to reduce the...
Sorry to troll a bit. The Relay ticks a bunch of boxes for me. Why are these sitting on sale for so long with so much stock? Wondering if they have the updated controllers and motors (if any)
