I also have an ext e storia on my Levo and it’s a huge improvement over the stock x2… which was so bad all around that fox is replacing all of them with the new model.
It happens whenever there isn’t a tight connection in the rosenberger plug. Next time try opening the charging door, disconnect and reconnect snugly. If it happens again after that, make sure there’s nothing stuck in there as it is magnetic.

Why do you need 170 cranks? I’m your height on an S5 in low with the headset cup in slack and have no issues.
IMO, maximizing the efficiency of your pedal stroke isn’t relevant when you have a full fat motor working with you.
Those welds are on the outside of the seat tube.
Loosen the collar and push your seat as far down as it will go, and then measure how far it went. You’ll have plenty of space.
2000+ km and no issues, after going through 4 motors on my 2019 carbon comp.
