This screw extractor works if it's the normal "righty tighty". It's opposite thread then i'll just put an oversized lag bolt in there and screw it in clockwise. Regardless the idea is jam something in there that would get some kind of a bite turn it accordingly, likely ruining the internal thread.
Hi Jim, I haven't had to take the hanger off yet. You can see in the attached photo what I'll be dealing with tho vs what it used to look like. This can't be a field repair so i'll be screwed if it happens on the trail. But, I plan on using something like these screw extractors to reverse it...

Burley replied to an inquiry saying they do not currently have a solution for the UDH hanger. I made it work by drilling a 5/8 hole in the UDH nut to pass the throughaxle through.
