Have you also ridden it offroad? It's so much more enjoyably, have you played with the modes? As it can be a pretty good workout if you limit the assist or put it in lower power modes specially with those tires on a road

How does xx1 match with slx? Is it as smooth as slx with shimano chain? I run slx with xt chain mixed with axs

6100 km so far on an slx cassette with 2 chains. Rotating chains every 300-400km. 1 chain broke at 3000km so I went on with 1 chain. Chain is at allmost 0.75%, still ride good. That's in 2 muddy wet Winters and 1 summer of riding.

I agree to every brand has ugly bikes and everyone's taste is different. I love my haibike to . For the money it's an excellent bike not overpriced like some other brands. There are definitely better looking bikes to but costs 3-4k more ,that's not for my wallet
