no need to detach anything. Just parallel charge only one group of battey, that is only 3.7V. It is just like adding a parallel battery onto one of the group. There are ten groups of battery that add up to 36V system. If you do not know how to parallel charging, then forget this operation...
Sometimes there's dirt or debris behind the bearing that causes it to not fully seat in the bottom and then the circlip is not expanded into its housing groove at all. Whatever it is, make sure you could see the groove clearly enough to allow the circlip returns into its expanded state so that...
The circlip opening (yellow arrow) should be placed near the notch (solid yellow arrow) because you want the tool insert can easily squeeze the circlip out of the groove. If you place the opening opposite the notch, you may find it is hard to do that.
(Edited) The circlip should be used to hold the bearing, and should not be easily seen normally.
Normally the circlip should not pop out. It should stay inside a groove. I guess it might be a bad workmanship that allowed the circlip not fully housing in. And the bearing now might be pushed...
By looking at parts in video, I recon the design of that one way clutch uses two springs to rotate the rollers cage back to normal contact position. It may not have sufficient tension to do the job if there is little jam.
Secondly, I also suspect your weather might freeze the grease there such...
The one-way clutch bearing should be the problem that causes the shaft not engaging the chain ring sleeve.
Picture is captured from the video.

This remote is from 2018 Turbo Levo Comp aluminium. It isn't really water proof. Dust finds its way in. Just share some pictures of this remote.
There is no one-way click lock on the cover. It is just glue. Open it by force and care. The minus switch seems problem jumping two times from top...
If the battery group is in fact degraded, individually charge it back to same level as other groups may not help. I mean that faulty group discharges to a lower level again. That means replacing the battery is not an option.
I have a post here that you may be interested to read.
