Share your current mileage on your Rise

Int Interested to hear what the clicking noise turns out to be. My motor has clicked for quite some time. I keep riding it.

Part # 1: Orbea Rise - Upper Linkage Axle and Bearing Service

Exact same issue on the non-drive side seat stay on my rise from new. I've found I have to twist the top of the stay inward to get the bolt to align. It frustrated the shit out of me the first time. Now I just treat it as a part of the service. I used loctite mid-strength retaining compound...

Part # 1: Orbea Rise - Upper Linkage Axle and Bearing Service

I've had another thought... how will this work for linkage spacing? The linkages have to connect to the yoke and the seat stays. I'm wondering if the different spacing will make this possible. 🤔

Part # 1: Orbea Rise - Upper Linkage Axle and Bearing Service

I'm interested to hear how this fits. Pay attention to how much contact you get on the axle splines with the linkages. I'm not sure if 1 mm less will make much of a difference, bit it is still less contact. The bearings could do with more axle interface to start with. I'm still keen to find...

Orbea Rise and Sram Transmission. Compatibility?

I thought the width of the shifts was slightly different on the new Transmission. Maybe not enough that you can still use the old derailleur?

Converting The Race Face TURBINE R30 to Tubeless?

I set mine up with rimpact valves and it was no probs. Any will do the job. I think they have an asymmetric rubber ring on the RF ones, otherwise the same.

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

I've got the wheel creak happening. Was planning on spraying ptfe on the spokes at the hub which seems to be a popular fix. Interested to hear what happened under warranty.

    Orbea Rise, replacement tyres

I'm thinking I'll just keep running dissectors and just put the new one on the front each time.

Rise Up - What are your upgrades?

Pretty sure I ended up with 160. They're good/great/hold the pedals/make the wheels turn. Very few pedal strikes. Slightly less leverage on steep stuff with the motor off, but they're still fine. Either will be fine and you get used to them in a flash.

    Rear Mud -Guard Options

Quite the pic to show off your mudguard. Busted arse XTs.

How do e-bike riding techniques change?

I went middle ground and got an Orbea rise, so it doesn't feel hugely different. You need to put in more effort to move the bike around, but otherwise it is pretty similar. I have an enduro bike also so the trail of the Rise makes it feel pretty nimble still. Just be careful of motor overrun...

    Plugged maxxis tyre

If you're worried you can drop the tyre off to my place and I'll test it out for the season to make sure it is OK.

Profile 1 and 2, have I got it all wrong ?

I can only assume that means you've set eco, trail and turbo to Max everything on both profiles. So no matter what mode you select everything is set to maximum. 💯 😉.

    Review Cushcore Bead Bro

These look interesting, I've seen some pictures of them in use. I've not yet needed tools other than 1 lever (usually none) to get tyres on with rimpact and cushcore. I always find the trick to be to tuck the whole bead into the centre channel as you're putting the tyre on. Strangely enough...
