I wax all my chains and I also use a wax based lube such as 'Squirt' in between full waxing. Never use an oil based lube on a waxed chain.

Its there to stop the build up of mud and weight and it also will allow water to drain, its often used on offroad motorbikes for that purpose

I've had mine for 3 weeks now, great bike. I was between sizes, small and medium, so opted for the small which comes with 170 cranks. 175 cracks are just to long for me not sure why they use them on ebikes
