Yes. The normal vinyl is quite thin and would easily get chipped off road.
The invisiframe should be much faster to apply, if it weren't for the fact I need to adapt the L kit to my M frame ;)
Thankfully it seems relatively straight forward everywhere except the steering tube area
Finished. Took me much longer than I originally estimated (~8 hours) but being the first vinyl wrapping job I made a ton of mistakes at the beginning and had to restart a few times.
Quite pleased with the result, all things considered.
Now I need to cut the new decals, re-assemble the whole...
There are a few things I find debatable of this review:
1) the "I recommend sizing up" while the person also suggested the bike is difficult to manual and hop. I think it would have been ideal for them to also test a medium and compare. We know other people raved about the playfulness of the...
My wrapping job is progressing... Very slowly.
Learning as I go along as I never did dry wrapping vinyl before.
It's satisfying though and it can always be reverted :) Next time I try it won't have the overlaps in the middle!
@TheBikeStudio thanks for this, super useful and something I wished @Velduro Global HQ @Velduro UK published on their websites (they didn't mention it to me when I reached out to them in October looking for shock recommendations).
by comparison, my off the shelf Fox X2 (bought directly from...
You said you saw a significant improvement after getting the X2 shock tuned by Fox per Velduro tuning recommendations.
Can you share more details of the tuning profile? I bought the X2 shock independently from Velduro so eager to know more
Thanks
3M VHB should do the job but I have not tried it yet. either the 5952

Or the LSE-110WF

...Adding zip ties would make it even safer but really ugly.
the rear chainstay is very large very soon compared to...
Finally testing the right size for you Rob?
Curious to hear your opinion ne about the rear suspension - is it at the level of the Nikolai 4 bar with belt drive/mgu?
I am collecting my rogue next week, I can't wait :)
I am 177 and I demoed a medium. It felt a tad compact but so playful and capable that I bought it. I made the mistake of oversizing once in the past and I regretted it.
I was in the medium/large borderline for Velduro according to feedback from others here. I am still waiting for the frame...
Check out the new Met/bluegrass venture vest that was presented this week at Sea Otter
I broke my ribs twice falling on my bike this is the one I am intending to buy for this season.
+1000
I also considered Unno Mith and Crestline before putting my money on Velduro last winter. The Rogue was the only one giving me enough saddle drop to comfortably face steep stuff that I have been chickening out of on my older bikes.
Surely it's a bit heavier and does not look as nice...
Hi all,
now that Avinox had confirmed M2* fits in same frames as M1 and now that they are launching on 60+ bikes... Surely there is some higher interest in developing a bracket to convert an eBike to analogue?
I would personally love taking my e-Enduro to lift assisted parks shedding ~5-7Kg (of...
The length of the FP700 battery pack was published by Avinox on their website as 558.5
interestingly this is a tad too short for 7x4680 modules but let's assume they can cram 7 of them.
These guys claim 97Wh nominal per module...
