Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

No having more power available does not mean you have to use it set levels lower so power use is same as the current software and you will get same distance 🤷‍♂️ It’s not a hard concept.

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

I find it hard to understand how people think more power is bad it used battery faster yes but that is not a failure condition it’s like saying a Ferrari has a fault Because it uses fuel faster than a fiesta 🤣, Yes it used more battery but it’s also getting you up the hill faster or with less...

    2026 Giant Reign E+ Megathread

Best day so far 8500 ft at BPW on my 22 Reign was not able to use turbo all day and had charge one battery in the car while riding on the other to get that it’s easy to get to the car there. My new Levo can probably do that on turbo with a bit of shuttle mode active just the 2 batteries.

    2026 Giant Reign E+ Megathread

1500 is a light day for us we just session DH trails and the bikes get us to the top relatively fresh for next run some of the fit younger guys can cope with smaller batteries but not many of them 🤣 I know quite a few people that ride like this but we are still probably in the minority, shame...

1500M being “sensible” is not a huge amount I said it would not be much better than my old 625 batteries reign and it’s not, it’s a real shame they could not get the 800 in there.

I ended up with a Levo and 2 840 batteries 🤣 it’s the Ali version so not light, but that’s not a problem and so much more nimble than the old reign which was the biggest surprise

My issue was the Battery size of its a DH focussed e-bike then you need to get to the top as easily as possible for me that’s sport/turbo and you need to do it over and over it’s basically your uplift, ok battery is easily changed when they eventually get stock in but unfortunately it was let...

I’m guessing that was not in turbo my 625 would get maybe 3000ft in a high power mode and I’m not a heavy rider

I generally ride with people that have at least 2 batteries also they prefer higher wattage it’s different ends of the spectrum, Everyone I know that has bought a light weight low power bike has regretted it

If the old range extender is anything to go by it will mane be 750 equivalent compared to a 36v Specialised is 42 v 840 battery just ordered a bike with 2 840s could not take the risk that the new reign may or may not be a bit more efficient 🤷‍♂️ shame because it was so close too.

    2026 Giant Reign E+ Megathread

They are saying the 48v is 7-10% more efficient given I ride at high power I’ll take that as 7% which is less then my 625 which is my back up battery and I keep running that to flat :(. I’m now erring to the Alloy Levo not too much weight save over my current Reigh but more capable and I can...

    2026 Giant Reign E+ Megathread

Bike shop have confirmed its a 560Wh only it does come as standard with a 280Wh range extender bike is 24kg with it fitted, no dates as yet on extra batteries or a larger battery which means its probably not the bike for me as i struggle with my 625 when used as a second battery, but I know my...
