It's not stiff when in use but when I spin the cranks backwards to reset my pedal position. There's a squeak like it's from a seal as well that might just be normal for the TQ motor, or not. *shrug*
I picked up a new Fuel exe a couple of weeks ago and after coming from a 2017 Turbo Levo FSR there's not much I miss but one thing that in my ignorance is unsettling me.
The issue is that the cranks are quite stiff compared to all the bikes I've ever ridden before. If i kick a pedal extremely...
Hey @Tarawera (nice username btw, I grew up in Kawerau) I got a damn good deal on a 2018 Specialized Turbo Levo fsr that I couldn't refuse. I've never managed to drain the battery below 50% on a work day where I shove it straight into it's highest setting and don't look back. I would say it's...
That's my current dilemma. I want to have some lower rolling resistance tyres, and I want them tubeless, and I want to have the ability to spend no more than a few minutes getting my bike ready.
I can't justify the cost of a second set of rims so i'm on the lookout for some good gravel style...
Some more pictures of the rack and bike are below. The only thing that you need to be aware of is that with the dropper fully down if you bottom out the shock you'll also bottom out the back of the seat on the top of the rack. I don't do any jumps on my commute so don't worry about it. Plus if...
I bought a Specialized Turbo Levo FSR for fun, my commute, and to act as an alternative to a second car, so like the proper old man I am I added some panniers earlier today to do this.
I couldn't see a lot of info online about how this would work with a full sus bike so hopefully this helps...
Hmm, I hear what you are saying @Dax but where I live I can lock the bike outside the shops and have no major fear of someone getting set up with an angle grinder or a jack in front of people without someone asking him what the fuck he's doing. It wouldn't be a lock to be used for longer than a...
I will be using my Levo FSR for commuting as well as supermarket runs, and of course the odd trail, so am on the hunt for a suitable lock.
I'm conscious that a lock needs to be a bit bigger than your average when trying to coax it around an emtb frame and don't have much of a chance to go...
Popped in to my LBS over the weekend and got a few tidbits of info from them about the '19 bikes. They got told by the Specialized rep to order a 2019 s-works as soon as they can as there won't be many of them available down here (it'll retail for circa NZD$15k). The rep didn't tell them...
I can't find it right now but I could have sworn I saw a vid where the chap took a couple of bolts out of the motor mount, swung it back and the battery could slide out the bottom of the down tube. Not exactly a simple procedure but not tricky if you have some basic tools and some time up your...
Yeah, i've test ridden the Levo, Scott eGenius, Merida (lower spec) and Jam2 at local stores here. In my complete ignorance all felt really good to me so i'd be happy with any. The issue I have is complete and utter indecisiveness, and stock levels in Wellington/NZ in general are poor so when...
I went and spoke to my lbs about a levo fsr and got told a mid spec kenevo will be dropping in a week or two... Essentially the FSR Comp but with more travel. They said it looks great but couldn't/wouldn't show any pics. I'm now waiting for a call when they get one in the shop.
