started happening again.
ended up taking to a shimano dealer. Shimano warrantied the motor. I'm very happy with the way it worked out. Bike was at shop for 2 weeks, i'd consider that quick.
really need to know what the motor warranty is.
but, this is the kind of bike i've been waiting for. 40'ish pounds and some assistance. I ride an ebike to save time. I have young kids. i refer to ebikes as dad-e-bikes.
hub was making noise, pulled it apart, 70% of teeth missing, of course can't find the part anywhere. For now i cut off all the teeth with flush cutters so it sits where it's supposed to and added a bunch of grease for a barrier, i'll replace the plastic part when i can find one.
thanks, i've gone through and unplugged/cleaned/replugged everything. So far i've done about 10 power cycles and everything is working. I'm holding off on contacting commencal till it happens again.

Out of the blue i get a E010 code when i turned on the bike. Upgraded firmware to motor. Bike no longer throws code, but there is no assist. I can change the eco/trail/boost and the power bar never rises and i don't feel any assist.
