For those interested who have bought hope cranks and were disappointed that they don't come with dedicated protector boots, the race face alloy versions fit pretty well.

Same here although mines 2 to 24nm. Had it checked by the calibration guy who comes to do my Snap-On ones for work and it was out ever so slightly but was really easy to adjust.

The H & L markings are correct, as you are effectively increasing the eye to eye length of the shock. The hole needs to be at the front (H) to make the yoke further from the point where the shock mounts to the frame.

The one thing I've always found strange about the Bosch motors is the way they fasten into the frame compared to Shimano for example. The small aluminium plates don't seem very sturdy and I've had similar concerns over the proximity of the chain ring to the chain stay. I'm running a hope...

There are two brass threaded inserts either side of where the wiring connects on the battery. 4mm thread. I screw a long bolt into one of those to use as a pull handle to lift the battery out.

I did mine up to 25Nm which is average for an M8x 1.25 pitch thread.

I've paused the video and cropped the screen shot and it seems the black coloured version is the alternative size?

It will be easy to fit, I would recommend using a torque wrench as they are alloy components/ threads. The only awkward bit is if the eye bush needs replacing.

I'm disappointed that it's not the same colour as the original as its the only thing on the bike that is that colour so I might get it painted to match.
