I've got the 2020 Trek Rail 5 and I would like to known the exact spec for the handlebar. I known it is Bontrager and 750 wide but not the up- and backsweep. What the exact model on this bike?
Why would dropping the motor affect battery alignment or other? Or is it beacuse the cabel swap? Seems like it is just remove 6 bolts, drop the motor and then reinstall it back? Just got my Rail so curious.
All bearings were installed dry in the frame so added some grease and acf50 where appropiate, axels however were greased.
Torques were off in some bolts. Still waiting for the chainring tool.
Alex Rims are holding air so far with the tubeless setup.
Did a small test runt yestersay and a...
Keyword here is should, isn't it? Bikes are not perfect and neither are mechanics. I dont really worry but better safe than sorry and if something would happen of course the dealer will have to fix it. I just rather save myself the trip (and the possible wait time for spares at these times) and...
Yes I'll do the standard check but just intrested if the Rail have any special problem areas. From what I learnt so far some have had the crank arms fall off, loose chain ring and dropped battery while riding (yikes!).
Just got my Rail 5 home and in the process of changing tires, brakes and fork.
Is there anything specific one should do on the Rail before use, known issues? Grease, tourque bolts or other? Should I give the electrical connections a dose of ACF-50?
Might pick a 2020 Trek Rail 5 with the 500wh battery. If a want to buy a second 625wh battery is possible with spacers make the switch as easy from 500 to 625 during rides as with battery of the same wh?
Might pick up a 2020 Trek Rail 5 with the 500wh battery. Is it correct that a spacer is available to make the 500 battery the same size as the 625, making switching between as easy as two battery of the same wh? If i decide to pick up a second 625wh battery.
All my claims were all pre-covid so they cant use that excuse. Unless the frame explodes I wont even bother with contacing them again, I'll just fix it myself.
Same here, had 3 claims and the support sucked on all occasions. Not only did they take months to get back to me and not very helpful at all when they did. Love the bike (Jeffsy) but customer service are shit. Seems like NA customers are better off though.
Haven't YT officially left the yearly product cycles? They'll release new bikes whenever ready and run smaller batches with different specs and colours? The Jeffsy Core is an example, was up for sale not long ago and sold out quick. And new Capras are in stock now.
