just in follow up to this I found this was actually loose chainring mounting bolts and not the motor. Easy fix

Did you ever sort this out, I seem to have the same issue on my Canton Spectral and e8000. It knocks on every revolution regardless of power on or off. Seems slightly worse in trial than eco as well. Not been able to find anything to help online so figure it’s a visit to shimano repair centre!

I gotten a whole bunch of chips on the bottom prt of the frame in and around the motor. Not entirely sure if this due to rocks or something else. Any good ideas on fixing these, do Canyon provide touch up paint or anyone done it themselves? It’s mainly on the black areas. TIA

Anyone know where I can get one of these Chain guides, managed to strip the thread by mistake? Official part name is (EP0752_PROT_M064-01_Chainguide_C_002 plastic) but can’t seem to locate in Canyon website or anywhere else. Do other brands fit ok? It’s from a Canyon Spectral ON

That’s kinda what I thought, it would be flapping around too much. Short is fine to protect pivot bearings, will have a look at the RRP one cheers
