Not my bike so can't help, it's someone on the cyc Facebook group.
Stealth and battery will add approx 8 to 10 kilos to your bike depending on battery choice.
2021 meta am around 16kgs so not particularly light.
I haven't heard of anyone having much trouble with wobbly batteries.
Sadly the 200mm bikes are a complete arse to fit motor and battery in 😖
You can over stroke a geometron g1 and get 200mm travel. The x1 will fit in frame but stealth won't unless you modify the mounting arms. Battery however has to fit underneath downtube😬
Brother and I run cyc's. He runs a backpack battery very successfully, but I tried and always felt like it was doing the steering.
The cyc gen3's are brilliant though, you'll really enjoy it 👍👍👍
Thanks, appreciate it🙏
So not actually 250w max then 🙄 This isn't a dig at any of the replies btw.
Regards proving my output, all I could do is show them the controller app at the start which shows all the power settings. No point cheating really....3kw would be quite noticeable😂
Hi guys
Was looking at entering the Bosch Ard Rock emtb challenge and it says...
Eebs must have blablabla....a maximum power output of 250 watts, and a speed restriction of 15.5 mph.
But I was under the impression that a lot of motors peak power far exceeds 250w?
Am only curious as I use a cyc...
You could just get a carbon fat bike of your choice and fit a bafang bbshd/02 or cyc mid drive.
It's a simple and relatively cost effective build.
Bbs02 and battery can be yours for six or seven hundred quid, works well and is very quiet.
Apologies if this should have been in rideouts, but wasn't really sure where to put it...
TrailX eMTB Challenge 2023 - The Trailx Weekender
I'm kinda tempted, although it's a couple of hours away, and wondered if anyone is going or has been to one of their events?
